Online Education Services (OES) has the responsibility of managing the e-Learning environment for TAFESA. Janison, an Australian product, is the approved e-Learning TAFESA platform.
Online Education Services administers the platform enabling staff to deliver whole courses or individual modules online for their students. These courses may form a supplement to an existing course in a blended format or be offered fully online.
Online Education Services also supports all TAFESA staff by providing a helpdesk facility as well as a full professional development program in how to use Janison to develop and facilitate courses, and other related e-Learning issues.
As a TAFESA wide unit, further support is provided by linking with the e-Learning coordinators at Institutes to disseminate information more effectively and facilitate the distribution of statewide resources such as ANTA Toolboxes.
