Instructional designers assist clients by applying sound teaching and learning principles to the design of learning materials, in all media formats, to support flexible delivery training programs. They also design delivery systems to ensure that those materials are used effectively.

Instructional designers provide continuous support for training materials developers at all stages of the design and development process.

Video and audio media

TAFESA Production House has a professionally staffed and self-contained production facility with modern location and studio-based equipment. Computer desktop workstations provide graphic design, and non-linear, video and audio post production. TAFESA Production House also provides photographic, artistic and musical composition services. It produces finished non-print learning materials including audio and video programs, photographic prints and digital images.

Print production and graphic design

TAFESA Production House specialises in the design and production of educational and training-related materials for a wide variety of applications. Staff use the latest desktop publishing technology to produce high-quality and innovative print-based and visual products.

Services include graphic design and illustration, package design, conference presentations and the development and production of print-based materials for teaching, publicity and marketing.

Web / database development

TAFESA Production House specialises in the design and production of webpages and websites for a variety of applications. Online developers and graphic designers provide a range of services which include Janison module development; designing navigation and scripting techniques for page functions; incorporating aminations, sound and video components into web pages; designing interactive functions; and designing and developing web interface databases.

Interactive multimedia

TAFESA Production House uses the latest multimedia, CDROM and related technologies to develop computer-based, interactive multimedia training materials. Authorware and other state-of-the-art technologies are used to create digital video and sound, 3D modelled animations, 2D animations, VR scenes and digital effects. Delivery mechanisms include CDROM and touchscreen kiosks on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

Staff have experience in producting high quality CDROM training materials for state, national & international clients.

Print management

TAFESA Production House provides a comprehensive print consultancy service for TAFESA Production House clients which includes print specialised advice, print procurement (collecting quotes), quality control and arranging delivery. Our database print register provides clients with an ongoing record of all printing requests.
