Awards won for work done by the TAFESA Production House (formerly CALS) extend over many years.

2004

A Flexible Learning Leader scholarship was won by an TAFESA Production House instructional designer. The project involved investigating project centred learning methodologies and its implications for resource materials development.

TAFESA Production House was recognised by the Australian Graphic Design Association National Awards for the design and production of the TAFE SA Annual Report.

2003

LILI (LEARN Information Literacy Initiative) site won the Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing ­ TAFE and Vocational Education Educational Website category, which was awarded by the Australian Publishers Association, The Australian newspaper, and the University of Sydney Teaching Resources and Textbook Research Unit (TREAT). LILI consists of seven online information literacy modules to assist users in searching for information using TAFE library catalogues, the world wide web and electronic databases.

LILI won the inaugural South Australian Training Initiative Award for 2002 and was Badge winner 2002, awarded by the National Grid for Learning www.ngfl.gov.uk

Douglas Mawson Institute of Technology's online staff induction package (produced by LM&S) was a finalist in the WorkCover Corporation, Safe Work Awards 2002 (Information Technology). This comprehensive online induction package is on an intranet site for all four campuses of the Institute.

2001

Yellow Pages South Australia Tourism Awards 2001 (Industry Education) for excellence in materials development for the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

1999

The Commonwealth of Learning President's Award for the production of a set of course materials was won by Adelaide Institute's Small Business Management Unit. These materials were designed and produced by LM&S and include print, video and online components.

1998

The Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing short-listed the educational package, Fundamental Hairdressing Skills, by Lyn Ware. This package includes print, videos and an interactive CDROM, and was designed and produced by LM&S.
